KOREA LANE is an independent English-language travel journal, created for readers around the world. Our aim is to bring places, culture, food and slower journeys into focus through clear writing and carefully chosen visuals.

Independent by design.

This is an unofficial editorial project. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Korea Tourism Organization, the Jeju Tourism Organization, any government agency or any travel brand. Links to official sources provide research context; they do not imply a partnership.

What readers should be able to expect.

Before publication, destination facts will be checked against primary sources where possible. Each guide should distinguish verified practical information from editorial perspective, identify its sources and carry a review date. Changing details such as opening hours and access will need a fresh check.

Photography will be used only with an appropriate permission or licence and clear credits. AI conceptual art, if used in future, will be labelled and kept distinct from real destination photographs. Any commercial relationships will be disclosed if introduced.

A new journal, taking shape.

Our first edition brings together six original researched stories across places, culture, food and slow travel. They are editorial planning guides, not firsthand trip reports. Every new article and photograph is reviewed before publication.

Imagery and privacy.

This website uses real photographs from Pexels and Wikimedia Commons. The photographs include archival images from 2008 and 2016, labelled with dates rather than presented as current venue photographs. See photography and sources for full credits and licences.

This site adds no analytics, advertising, forms or newsletter sign-ups. Our hosting provider may process technical information needed to serve the website.
